AGP Driver unable to find for windows Vista?
i hav an AGP graphics card from ATi whoz model no. is 9200s it is of 128 mb. i hav tried installing the relevent drivers for the card but all i get is a couple of errors like…
Windows was unable to find any ATi graphics card etc etc…
and it also says tht .. SETUP cannot be completed.. Try installiung Standard VGA driver for the card which is awready installed.

Unfortunately, with the invention of Vista, many older graphics cards have been rendered obsolete when it comes down to compatibility with the operating system. This leaves you with a choice, either don’t upgrade to Vista, or buy a more up to date graphics card that is compatible with Vista. Even if your version of Vista is the 32bit, many graphics cards availability is as restrictive as if you were using Windows XP 64bit.
From what I am seeing, if you prefer the ATI series cards, you will need to be using at least the 9550 series ATI card to be compatible with Vista 32bit. Here is an example of a 9550 series ATI card that is AGP and has at least 128mgs of graphics memory: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2802676&CatId=694 . This is just one card, I am sure there are others of the same caliber and many more of higher ratings capable of supporting Vista.

Through the headphone out, however, the audio quality of the NC10 fine. The SD, SDHC or MMC cards in the card reader can not fully be “clicked” (still a few mm outside the chassis stabbing). The standard 1GB memory provided plenty for web browsing, e-mail, MSN and / or VoIP. The memory, if necessary (eg Vista), easy to expand with 1x2GB (for the 1GB module).

Software
The operating system is Windows XP on the NC10. Windows XP, the predecessor of Windows Vista. Windows XP is still widely used in netbooks, because it requires less processing power than the demanding Vista. The modest Intel Atom processor netbooks functions therefore better and faster with XP. XP also offers a stable work environment. Obviously Windows XP optimal interaction with other Microsoft programs like Office, Explorer, and Exchange. The presence of Windows XP, which comes with Microsoft Office Mobile, you can at the Samsung NC10 Word and Excel Files.
Screen, keyboard and touchpad
10 “is a relatively small screen (1024×600 native). For anyone who has a couple of hours to work with the NC10 is the ability to connect external monitor (VGA). The quality of the image on my Dell 2007FP ( 1600X1200) is surprisingly good (almost equivalent to VGA / Radeon), although via DVI / Radeon (X1600) image (obviously) better. The touchpad of the NC10 is small (1000H is larger) but after some getting used to them is good work. Keyboard however is larger and more logical classification than the 1000H. The few programs that do not work because the resolution on the NC10, course work or at a remote monitor whose screen resolution minimum 1024X768 or higher.
Battery
I have three times the battery fully charged and discharged (or until maximum capacity). To WiFi, BT, 2 stripes brightness, the battery life is 6 a 7 hours, which roughly corresponds to this test. Wait how is that after frequent recharging will be. You can also calibrate the battery via the BIOS (Smart battery calibration). How you deal with a laptop battery, see the Battery FAQ. The battery life (battery life) is with Windows 7 (5.15 hours) against. It is not clear whether the battery life is longer with Vista than with XP (6.34 hours). Asus specifies the 1000H/Linux one hours less battery life than XP.
Video Call
With the integrated 1.3-megapixel digital camera of the Samsung NC10 easier than you ever keep in touch with friends and family via videoconferencing. The camera combines the resolution and picture quality of a camera with high frame rates of a continuous video.

Conclusion
A netbook is a small, light weight, low-cost, energy-efficient laptop, currently optimized for Internet services like web browsing and e-mail. The featureset and performance of the NC10 I think from that perspective (more than) enough. Without doing violence to the aforementioned concept, the uses of the netbook can be expanded (eg more powerful CPU and adding 3G functionality). All in all I think the Samsung NC10 one of the best 10 “netbooks currently available. The NC10 will also available with built in 3G broadband module.
