HELP.. iMovie Troubles……….?
I am doing a movie project and need to use iMovie on the mac but when I click it this comes up:
“Quartz Extreme required.
iMovie requires a graphics card that is compatible with Quartz Extreme. One or more of your graphics cards does not support Quarts Extreme.”
So i have no idea what this means or how to fix it..
If you know what the problem is and how to fix it that would be great because i prefer iMovie, but if not giving me an alternative movie-making software system would also work (but it has to be free or low priced).

Some use PCI Extreme! 3.1 it works yet there have been issues with some computers what it does it goes in Open Firmware and does a fake to the computer making it believe it believe that it’s something that it’s not did this on my Mac for FCP 3 a few years back it does work. I used the long code I typed mine in I’m looking for that one and will return if you want to run PCI Extreme! 3.1 here is the link. Many swear by it not swear at it….

How do I copy CD+G to laptop?
I have a Samsung NP R40 notebook with a disc drive. It already has lots of CD+Gs on it which play correctly. It also has Winamp and Swift elite installed.
I also have an external Phillips SPD3000CC DVD RW
I also have a Mac G5 which is online.
I want to copy CDG’s onto my laptop but so far I have only succeeded in copying the audio and not the graphics.
How do I copy the graphics as well?
Do I need additional software?
If so is it free or what does it cost?
How do I install and use such software?

CD Burner – Your CD burner must be able to read and write subchannel data. The subchannel portion of a disc is where the graphics data of a CDG is written. Not all CD writers have this capability.
Software – Probably the easiest to use software for making duplicate copies of CDG discs is CloneCD. Using a single drive, you will simply extract the contents of a CDG to an “image” file and then burn the image file to a blank disc. The result will be an exact copy of the original. This software will even duplicate copy protected discs. Clonecd is a retail package that you can buy online.
If you will also want to create custom CDG compilations, and/or need to create discs from MP3+G files, then Microstudio or Power CD+G Burner would be a better choice.
