Geforce XFX GT240 1GB ddr5 and samsung B2230 not getting desired result 
?
i have a Geforce XFX GT240 1GB ddr5 ,M4A88TD mobo and Phenom || X4 proc and SAmsung B2230 .I installed the latest drivers for my card but still the picture is not clear .For movies and for games[ NFS Undercover ] the picture doesn’t even seem to be rendered from a graphics engine .its hazy and looks like 16bit color . Although the graphics card is detected and working but its not producing the desired result …..
Please tell me what to do ? Thankyou in advance ,,,,,,
What I see , your Graphic card has 3 out put, DVI-I , HDMI and VGA and your monitor supports DVI-D and 15 pin D-sub. First make sure that you have installed the driver of your monitor (installation CD that comes with your monitor) so your pc can detect the monitor, then make sure that you have connect the monitor to your video card through DVI-D port. Note that 15 pin D-sub is analogue input and you won’t get a good picture quality through this connector. Also check the refrash rate of your monitor in your graphic card setting.

Ellipse Mathematical Help?
Hi, I’m trying to create a rendering of an ellipse using math. I seriously have know clue how to start. All these points will be on an imaginary grid, so it should work fine. For a circle, I normally offset a point using (don’t mind if the formula isn’t the standard, it works fine), x = x + offset * Cos(angle), y = y + offset * Sin(angle). I run this on a timer (using a 3-d graphics engine), and I slightly increase the angle each interval which creates a perfect circle. Now I just need the ellipse. Oh, and when using any variables, would you guys mind explaining exactly what they are?
Presumably when you are generating a circle you use the same number for the offsets in the formulas for x and y. I should think that if you use different numbers for the x offset and the y offset you will get an ellipse (if you have a single variable called offset, replace it with two variables, xoffset and yoffset).
