Computer Architecture for Gaming Pcs and Consoles
On successful completion of this module, the student will be able to describe the hardware components of a personal computer and their interconnections. Compare and contrast the relative merits of different hardware configurations. Discuss the areas of Peripherals, Sound, and 2D and 3D Graphics in the context of Games.

Introduction to Game Art and tools
Students will learn how to use industry standard 2D Graphics, 3D Graphics and sound creation and manipulation software. They will also be made aware of the methods and limitations involved in transferring assets from dedicated asset creation packages into the environment they will be used in, such as a Games Engine.
