Why does Canada copy all the American TV shows?
Ok, I like Canada and everything, I have family who lives there and we were just up there for Canadian thanksgiving over the weekend so I’m not like some anti Canadian or anything lol, But why does Canada copy all the US TV shows? They have Canadian Idol, Canada’s next top model (with there own Tyra model person), AND the logos for the shows are identical to ours here in the US. and they have a sports network called TSN, which is basically ESPN, same logo, graphics, format, but … TSN.
What confuses me more, is that most of the TV channels in Canada are American. They get NBC, CBS, ABC, WB, TLC, and tons of others, so shows like Americas Next Top Model are still available to most Canadians. It just seems a little unoriginal to me, I’m sure they could come up with some better shows of there own then just copying US ones.
They appear boring to you because they cast people that you are not used to being around. canadian may entertain canadians, and americans entertain americans. It’s all about the culture, but the US copies a lot of their shows and reality shows from britian. ie: american idol, one of america’s most loved reality shows, came from britian. What is a good gaming laptop for 400-600 dollars that plays games fairly good?
guys, its not that hard, im looking for a laptop for around 400 to 600 dollars that can play some average graphics games, im sure they wont even require a great graphics card. The games I would like to be abel to play are A.V.A., BattleField 2, Company of Hero’s, and Americas Army 3. These games shouldn’t require too good of a graphics card right? Can someone please help me? I would also like it to be a brand new laptop.

For 700 dollars, an HP dv7-3065us is a pretty good deal. It has fair battery life, 4 gigs of RAM, a huge screen, and decent graphics. I can run Half-Life 2 perfectly on highest settings. Even more recent games such as Left 4 Dead 2 and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 run pretty smoothly.
