graphics memory usage
I have a Nvidia Go 7600 256MB Graphics card, but it only shows up as 128MB, how do I change it?
when I got to Properties>Settings>Advanced it shows the memory as 128MB even know my receipt from the computer people say its 256MB.
How can I get optimal memory usage out of my video card? What are the best settings?
If it has a setting to increase shared system ram for video it will be in your bios
reboot and press del key to enter bios
check the manual it will tell you if it can do that

Question about Windows 7 RAM usage?
Im going to put Windows 7 on my Uni-body MacBook Pro. Specs are:
2.8 duel core processor
4GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia 9600MGT graphics card.
My question is, it says that 64-bit 7 needs at least 2gb of RAM. Now does this mean that I will only have 2 left to use on say games? If that I so, should I get the 32-bit version which only needs 1gb of RAM?
Last question, is there anyway to cut down on memory usage in 7, I knew there were ways to do it in Vista?

First off your macbook will run windows 7 like an dream
They recommend you having at least 2 gb of ram so that your Operation system doesn’t run slowly.
I have 64 bit installed and on start up i only use about 700 mb of ram.
I have 6 gb ram in my system and believe you me i have tried and tried to use all the ram but just couldn’t.
Don’t worry just install windows 7 and you will love it.
