Which laptop should I buy for college, Dell XPS m1330 or Hp dv4t?
I will be attending college in the fall as a biology major and I won’t be gaming, Which of these laptops is the better choice?

I have to say the HP hands down! When the time comes for support, and the time will defintely come, you will be so glad you bought an HP! Just buy the Dell and sooner or later you will find out what I meant! Seriously though, HP makes excellent laptops and desktops. I just bought a brand new HP desktop, and had to call customer support
for a little advice, and they were awesome.
I have used Dell support in the past for a laptop that I ended up returning in the end. It was a nightmare.

I am customizing a HP desktop and so I need a good priced computer that allows me to do not too intense gaming, multimedia, word processing, and surfing through the net. Is the graphics card mentioned above good for gaming?
Also, I am interested in the HP Pavilion p6180t series and if you can recommened a good graphics card, that would be greatly appreciated.
No. You will only be able to play basic games.
If you want to play games well, you need a dedicated card (one from ATI or Nvidia)
regarding HP Pavilion p6180t series,
I’m sure one of the 1GB cards would be adequate for your needs. nVidia cards tend to be slightly better than ATI ones, however ATI cards are cheaper
it really ends up being a matter of taste
if you have the extra money available, get the nVidia version
