How does one use the java API, in particular the graphics api’s like AWT and swing.?
I just got into programming. I understand how to look at and search the API but I don’t understand how to actually obtain the files they are mentioning. are they saved somewhere on my computer or do I physically need to repeat the code they show in the API. any help would be appreciated. I haven’t found an actual tutorial on using those files yet.
Do you have enough practive with Java itself? With classes, interfaces, and object programming in general?
I will be tough to get into GUI programming without knowing the fundamental core.
