xbox 360 graphics please help me?
Ive just got a xbox 360 for my birthday today and im so happy, but is this a hdmi cable? http://www.chadledford.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/avcables.jpg, if not why are there 6 cables not just 3? and if so how can i connect it to hd? thanks so much
HDMI cables have sort of a flat, rectangular end to them — it looks sort of like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:HDMI.socket.png One of these cables comes with the Elite.
The other way to connect to HD is to use the AV cable with 6 connectors that comes with the Xbox 360 Pro or Elite. The Red/Blue/Green connectors are usually called Component Video; there should be matching ports on your TV. The Red/White cables are the audio connections. The 6th cable is yellow and is only used for SD. There’s also a switch on the cable for HD or normal TV so make sure that’s set properly too.
Note that the Component cables will usually only give you 720p or 1080i — most TV’s won’t do 1080p over component cables.
