Windows 7 display driver for Dell Dimension B110?
I installed w7 on my tower b110, and the graphics driver seems to be installed correctly. Yet the colour would not go over 16 bits and resolution over 600 x 400. Please help, the add hardware wizard won’t let me update with the driver provided by dell! I know this is an old non WDDM compatible card.
Yes its true that you can not get good driver for Intel 865GV chipset which have Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2 display which will just become standard garphic controller in WIN7 and every thing look big and you won’t be able to use aero feature, but still you have option for installing 256MB PCI card on computer, now a days there are many PCI Graphic adaptors are there which come with 250W of powersupply and good news is that its compitable with your computer you can purchase it.
I know one which is : GeForce FX 5200 256 MB PCI Graphics Card
And additional info – you can upgrade your memory upto 2GB which is good for win7.
