is this a good graphics card for a laptop?
Intel graphics media accelerator X3100…is this a good enough graphics card for watching dvds on a laptop? i wont be doing any gaming, and i also wont be watching dvds very often (maybe only for road trips…which isnt often)….so i dont know if its worth it to upgrade to a better graphics card. what else is the graphics card used for? (I’m kind of a computer noob)
i’ll have at least 2GB RAM…and not sure which processor yet.
Yes, it’s adequate enough to watch DVD’s. About any video processor made for laptops these days is enough to render DVD play back. That seems to actually be the minimum video requirements most business laptops must meet?
Video processor does all the rendering for the display. If your looking at websites with high demands, such as alot of Flash (youtube.com) you may see jittering once in a while if the video processor is really whimpy.

I have a laptop with a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD card. Will Battlefield Bad Company 2 work?
All the other system requirements are met by my laptop but i just wasnt sure about this one.

you do need to install something but it will tell you if you can play any just about any game with upgrade options and all that. it will also tell you stats about your computer that you dont know
