I need advice building a computer specifically for editing and rendering High Definition videos on a PC?
Need advice building a computer specifically for editing and rendering High Definition videos on a PC. I will be using Sony Vegas to edit and work on High Definition videos.
I got a budget of about $3000 for this and I want to build a PC from scratch – I would need to know the exact specs and best practice for RAMS, graphics cards and all the 9 yards on a PC. I would also like some advice on hopw to go about building this machine, should i goto Dell or elsewhere? Your advice and help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

3000$ will get you anything you want. Just visit a site like ibuypower.com or cyberpowerpc.com and mess around with their custom configurators. Configure a new computer with an i7 processor add everything else from there. Once you get everything, write down the parts and go on newegg.com to buy them yourself. If cyberpower.com lets you pick those parts together, then they are compatible and you dont have to worry about anything.
